History of the Company
Neo Metals combines international mining expertise with extensive experience on the ground in the regions where we operate. We have realised the potential of our assets in Armenia by investing strategically in technology and applying our know-how to increase efficiency and achieve breakthroughs in processing techniques. The Company is present in Armenia since 2007 when it has acquired stakes in Zod Mine, Ararat Gold Recovery Plant and Agarak Copper Molybdenum Combine (ACMC). Since then it has made significant investment into renovation and extension of production capacities of its subsidiaries. So, in 2012 Agarak Copper Molybdenum Combine was rebuilt, doubling annual production capacity to reach 4.5 mtpa of ore. In 2014 the Company has started operation of a new facility at the Ararat Gold Recovery Plant in Armenia implementing Albion – Glencore Technology’s latest innovation for processing refractory ore. Having seen huge potential in mining and overall development in Armenia, in 2022 the Company acquired stake in Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine in Armenia, which has been the largest tax payer in Armenia for a long period of time.

Our Assets
Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine
ZCMC produces copper and molybdenum concentrates and ferromolybdenum. The mine is located 4 km south of Kajaran Town, the open pit is 4 km long, 1.5 km wide and at least 500 deep. The current capacity of the processing plant is up to 22 million tones, there is an ongoing expansion project for increasing capacity up to 30 million tones. Mining is made by the traditional truck and shovel method (loading by excavator on dump trucks).
The rock is drilled and exploded, and then either stored or dumped by dump trucks.

GPM GOLD
Includes the Zod open pit for gold and silver mining and the Ararat gold recovery plant located in Eastern Armenia. The Zod deposit contains 2.8 million ounces of reserves and 5.3 million ounces of resources. Working life is 31 years based on resources, 18 years based on reserves. 1. PRIMARY CRUSHING (The content of the finished grade – 0.075 mm in the original ore - 5%, The content of the finished class in the flotation slurry feed - 80%, Ore density - 2.8 g/cm)
2. COLLECTIVE FLOTATION Flotation (slurry feed density 30-33 % by solids, Concentrate yield 4-7%, The content of some components in the concentrate:, Ca - 0.7-1.5%, S - 18-28%)
3. MILL (ISAMILL) (Flotation slurry feed density - 40-42% by solids, Grinding at feed sizing F80 +75 micron (1) microns 40-50%, Grinding at discharge F80 +12 micron(1) microns 78-85%)

Agarak Copper Molybdenum Combine
100% of shares acquired in December 2007 Copper and molybdenum mine is located in the Syunik province of Armenia. The life of the deposit is over 100 years based on resources. The current capacity after modernization made is 4.5 millions tones. Mining is made by the traditional truck and shovel method (loading by excavator on dump trucks). The rock is drilled and exploded, and then either stored or dumped by dump trucks.
